The following is a list of services and activies that are offered at the Al-Nur Islamic Center. (Insha Allah, by the will of ALLAH more to come soon)

Prayer

• 1. Daily Five times prayer (exact prayer time varies every month, please check our web site for current prayer time).
• 2. Jumma (Friday) prayer at 1 PM.
• 3. Tarweeh (Especial prayer) on the month of Ramadan (one hour after sunset).

Quranic Class

• Saturday and Sunday- 10 AM to 3 PM for ages 4 and above.
  Beginner to upper level class offers to Recite Holy Quran with Tajweed (Science of reading Quran), memorization of the Quran.
• Weekdays (afternoon) classes can be arranged for children / adult upon request.

Youth Program

1st Friday and 3rd Friday of each month at 7 PM

This class is designed especially for youth boys / girls to educate them about the true value of Islam, moral in Islam, leadership training, basic Arabic Language to understand Quran, warning about Drug / Substance uses and consequences, family values, responsibilities to this society and the country at large which will enable them to be the best of the best citizen of The United States.

Adult / Family Night

2nd Saturday of each month at 7 PM

An spiritual evening to uplift our social, spiritual and family value so that the legacy of our religion- Islam can be the core foundation in our daily life; solve our problem in the light of Quran, follow the Commandment of Allah (GOD) and His great prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This Halaqa / Spiritual Evening ultimately strengthen our brotherhood / sisterhood in our community. The knowledge helps our community member to solve lots of day-to-day encounters in their family as well as in their practical life- at work.

World famous and Local Scholars comes in this evening program as a Guest Speakers. Question and Answers to the related subject matters are provided to the audiences. Pot Luck Dinner is arranged to taste different favorite food for all.

These services are offered upon request only.

Charitable / Community Services

Al-Nur Islamic Center participates with other sister organizations, including Islamic Relief, CAIR, Shura Council, Red Cross, and other international Relief organization to help the victims of Natural Disasters, genocides, homeless, and poor people at home and aboard. Charity is the 3rd pillar of Islam; with out Charity Islam is not a complete religion. We are thriving to do our best to help human being regardless religion, sex, gender and race. Any one in need of any help please feel free to contact us and Insha Allah we will do our best to help.

Inter faith Dialogue / Dawah

We arrange and participate to share our believes, to listen to others who believe in one GOD in a formal seminar, conference in our Center or out side of our community. We are open to every one who comes sincerely to our Center to find out the true value of Islam-worshiping only one God, submitting to the will of Allah (God). August is the month of "Open Masjid Month to Community" in which month all Islamic Centers are open to the public.
